Answered + Booked — full call answering

Answered + Booked is full call answering for electricians, installed by Gridpoint Solutions for contractors across the United States. It answers around the clock, qualifies callers and books approved calendar slots. It includes everything in Missed Call Rescue — missed-call text-back.

Keep working while the phone gets handled.

The leak, in your words

Nights and weekends are a black hole.

An after-hours call arrives while you are at dinner, driving home, or finally off the tools. You need to distinguish a routine booking from the call that deserves an interruption. Handling both the same way leaves the phone in charge of the evening.

How it works

  1. Your phone rings first, or the assistant answers everything
  2. The assistant identifies itself immediately
  3. It checks the service, location and job details
  4. Routine work books into approved calendar slots
  5. Emergencies take a separate route: whisper-transfer to your cell

What is installed

  • Everything installed with Missed Call Rescue
  • Your choice of ring-first or always-answer routing
  • Company-specific services, service area, hours and limits
  • Booking into calendar slots you approve
  • Emergency transfer to your cell with a whispered summary
  • A recording, full transcript and plain-English summary for each call
  • A library voice or your own cloned voice, always disclosed as an assistant

Will it sound like a robot?

It never quotes prices, gives electrical advice, or promises a time you have not approved. It identifies itself as an assistant in the first breath. When it does not know, it says so and gets a human. A transfer still depends on you being available.

Choose a previewable library voice or your own cloned voice. Both introduce themselves as an assistant. A familiar voice is never permission to pretend the owner personally answered.

Estimate: use your own numbers

Count after-hours missed opportunities separately from daytime calls.

Estimate = missed job opportunities × your assumed completion share × contribution per completed job. This is a scenario for the period you counted, not a prediction.

Questions before you commit

Will it sound like a robot?

You can preview a library voice or choose your own cloned voice. Either way, it says it is an assistant in the first breath. The point is to help a caller reach a useful next step without pretending they spoke to you personally. Try the demo line and judge it yourself.

Can my phone ring first?

Yes. You can have your phone ring first and let the assistant answer when you cannot, or have it answer all calls. Paul tests routing and voicemail timing during setup. The choice is yours, and it can change as your staffing, workload or opening hours change.

Does it book onto my calendar?

Yes. It books into calendar slots you have approved, using the service, availability and notice rules agreed during setup. It cannot promise a time outside those rules. Bring your current calendar system to the fit call so Paul can confirm compatibility before including it in the install plan.

What happens with an emergency?

The emergency route transfers the caller to your cell with a whispered summary so you know why the phone is ringing. It does not give electrical advice or replace emergency services. Paul agrees the escalation rules with you and tests them; your availability still matters when a transfer comes through.

Does this include the text-back plan?

Yes. Answered + Booked includes everything in Missed Call Rescue, including the first-call-only texting rule, business inbox, number ownership, carrier registration and monthly rescue log. You are choosing the fuller phone service rather than buying two unrelated plans. The written install plan sets out how the routes work together.

Can I check what it said?

Yes. Every call has a recording, full transcript and plain-English summary. Review those alongside calendar bookings to check whether the assistant followed your rules. The day-30 verified log separates conversations from booked and completed jobs, giving you something concrete to assess instead of a sales estimate.

Bring your numbers. Talk to Paul.

30 minutes, phone or Google Meet. You leave with a one-page number: what your missed calls cost you last month, from your own numbers.

Your pre-install number is an Estimate, not a promise.
