Website Build & Redesign — design and search optimization

Website Build & Redesign is the site itself: electrician website design from Gridpoint Solutions for contractors across the United States. Paul builds a clear mobile route from the services you actually provide to a call or booking.

Make the first impression worth a call.

These are design demonstrations, not client case studies. Each concept has responsive layouts and a request preview. Your project would add your real services, credentials, service areas, photography and approved booking integration. Search optimization is scoped for your market.

The leak, in your words

They Google you before they call you. What they find decides whether they call.

A homeowner is checking whether you do the work, serve their area and look credible enough to call. A slow page or buried number makes that decision harder. The website should answer those questions in the words customers use, with a clear next step.

SEO · AEO · GEO

Be easier to find. Before the first call.

A good website should help the right customers discover your business. We can optimize a new or existing site to compete for better search rankings and make your services easier to understand in AI-generated answers.

One search strategy. More ways to be found.

  • SEO — Search Engine Optimization. Technical fixes, service-area pages and accurate business information help search engines discover and understand your business.
  • AEO — Answer Engine Optimization. Clear answers to real customer questions help your content serve direct-answer searches.
  • GEO — Generative Engine Optimization. Clear service facts, credible supporting evidence and well-structured content help AI systems understand and potentially cite your business.

We agree the priorities before work starts: technical health, local visibility, content improvements and reporting on search traffic, AI referrals where identifiable, and inquiries. Optimization can be scoped with your build or as ongoing work.

Why search visibility now includes AI answers

Research snapshots — different measures, not a head-to-head return on investment
FindingWhat was measured
8% vs. 15%Traditional-result clicks on Google visits with an AI summary versus visits without one.
1%Visits with an AI summary that led to a click on a link within that summary.

Source: Pew Research Center, July 22, 2025. Browsing data from 900 U.S. adults in March 2025; 68,879 unique Google searches, with results collected in April. This observed behavior does not establish that AI summaries caused the difference, and is not a contractor-specific forecast.

Up to 40% higher visibility in a GEO benchmark

The GEO research paper accepted at KDD 2024 reported up to 40% improved visibility in generated answers under its evaluation. Results varied by domain. This measures visibility in the study, not a 40% increase in rankings, website traffic or booked jobs.

Our approach builds on SEO fundamentals. Google says its existing SEO best practices apply to AI Overviews and AI Mode, with no special optimization required for inclusion. We focus on useful, accurate content and a technically sound site, then measure what changes.

Discuss your search visibility

How it works

  1. Agree your services, customer and first priority
  2. Write the trade-specific pages and conversion paths
  3. Review the site together on a phone
  4. Launch the approved site and maintain it

What is installed

  • Optional SEO, AEO and GEO work to improve search visibility, with priorities and reporting agreed in writing
  • Click-to-call where a customer needs it
  • A booking path agreed for your business
  • Trade vocabulary and service descriptions you approve
  • Mobile layouts and explicit image dimensions
  • A2P compliance pages required for business texting
  • An ongoing support scope covering the hosting, updates and compliance work agreed in writing

What it does not do

Explore our three original concept websites to see the design possibilities. They are fictional demonstrations, not client projects or ranking results. A clearer website does not create search demand on its own. The scope and final build price are agreed before work begins.

How we figure the number

Website Build & Redesign

Custom written scope

Paul prices each website after choosing a structured design or a custom build and defining the pages, integrations and ongoing support in writing.

The written proposal defines the project terms before work starts, and you work directly with Paul.

Questions before you commit

Can you help customers find my business in search and AI answers?

Yes. We can scope search engine optimization (SEO), answer engine optimization (AEO) and generative engine optimization (GEO) for a new or existing website. The work can include technical fixes, service and location content, useful answers to customer questions, accurate business information and visibility reporting. The goal is better rankings and easier discovery; rankings, AI citations and lead counts cannot be guaranteed.

How is website work priced?

Website work is quoted case by case after Paul reviews the current site, required pages, integrations and whether a structured design or custom build fits the project. Any hosting, updates or ongoing support are defined in the written proposal before work starts.

Can ongoing support be included?

Yes. Hosting, updates and compliance pages can be included when they fit the project. The written proposal states the exact support scope and price so it matches the website and the way your business operates.

Can I see your portfolio?

Yes. Explore Forma Electric, Fieldwork and Brightside in the concept collection on this page. They are original, working design demonstrations with desktop and mobile layouts, not real client projects. We will add customer work only with permission and accurate context.

Will the site guarantee more leads?

No. A website cannot guarantee a lead count or search ranking. The work makes your services easier to understand and gives visitors a clear route to call or book. Traffic, competition and your response to inquiries still affect whether those visitors become customers. We discuss that openly.

Will it work with my phone plan?

Yes. The site can provide the front door for a Gridpoint phone plan, with click-to-call and booking paths agreed during setup. Website Build & Redesign is still a separate offer. Reputation & Review Management can be added to any plan, and Paul explains the combination that fits your shop.
