Missed Call Rescue — missed-call text-back

Missed Call Rescue is missed-call text-back for electricians and contractors across the United States, installed by Gridpoint Solutions. When you cannot answer, one text from your business line opens a conversation you can return to.

Give the caller a reason to wait for you.

Sorry we missed you. We are on a job. What can we help with?

Can you look at my kitchen outlets tomorrow?

Owner reply: I can call you at 9 to discuss the job. Does that work?

Yes, tomorrow at 9.

Illustration only. The owner follows up; this text-back plan does not book automatically.

The leak, in your words

I can't answer with both hands in a panel.

You are working for the customer in front of you. The next customer is on the phone. By the time you call back, they may have chosen someone who answered. A useful text gives them a way to explain the job without waiting on hold.

How it works

  1. A call goes unanswered
  2. One text goes out from your business line
  3. The caller replies in your business inbox
  4. You follow up and record the outcome

What is installed

  • One text per caller, with the first-call-only rule configured
  • A business inbox for caller details and replies
  • A number bought in your name that leaves with you
  • Carrier registration filed and maintained
  • A monthly log of rescued conversations and their outcomes

What it does not do

Nobody answers the phone live with this plan. A text is an invitation to reply, not a booked job. You still need to read the inbox and follow up. Text delivery depends on carrier registration and a text-capable number.

Estimate: use your own numbers

Could one rescued service call cover a month? Use contribution after direct job costs, not the invoice total.

Enter your inputs

Estimate = missed job opportunities × your assumed completion share × contribution per completed job. This is a scenario for the period you counted, not a prediction.

Paul sends the report after the fit call. It is not generated or sent instantly.

Missed Call Rescue

$297/mo + $997 setup

Founding clients (first 3): $0 setup, and the first invoice only exists after the first rescued call shows in the log.

Month to month, no contract. You own your number and data, approve every word, and work directly with Paul.

Questions before you commit

Does someone answer the phone?

No. Missed Call Rescue sends a text when a call goes unanswered; it does not answer live. The reply lands in your business inbox so you can follow up when your hands are free. Choose Answered + Booked if you also want calls answered and approved appointments booked.

Will a repeat caller get several texts?

No. Paul configures a first-call-only rule so a caller does not receive a new automatic text for every repeated attempt. One text opens the conversation. That setup matters because a frustrated customer needs a useful reply, and repeated automated messages can make the experience worse.

Who owns the number?

You do. The number is bought in your name and leaves with you if you stop the service. Paul explains the routing before installation so you know which number customers call and which line handles replies. Your existing marketing number and the provisioned line are discussed together.

Do you handle carrier registration?

Yes. Paul files and maintains carrier registration for the business texting setup. You provide accurate business details, and texting starts when the required registration clears. The service does not cold-text prospects. A carrier approval timeline is not a promised installation date, and Paul confirms readiness before launch.

Can one rescued call cover the monthly fee?

It can if the contribution from that completed, paid job covers the $297 monthly fee. Enter your own contribution figure in the Estimate block, after direct job costs. A service ticket alone is not profit. Setup costs also matter, and no particular number of rescued jobs is promised.

What is in the monthly log?

The log records rescued conversations and the outcomes you can verify. A text reply, a booking, and a completed paid job are different events, so they should remain separate. At the day-30 review, Paul compares the records with your inputs instead of treating every reply as new revenue.

Bring your numbers. Talk to Paul.

30 minutes, phone or Google Meet. You leave with a one-page number: what your missed calls cost you last month, from your own numbers.

Your pre-install number is an Estimate, not a promise.
